Tanzania Safari Cost

The price of a Tanzania safari includes lodging, entrance fees for the national parks, and a safari vehicle with a private guide. Unless you decide to share the safari vehicle with more people, the costs for the first two items are fixed. The entrance fees to national parks are pricey; for instance, a jeep safari in the Ngorongoro Crater costs $300 per day. Due to this, going on a Tanzania safari is expensive. Depending on the level of luxury or exclusivity you select, it may be possible to save money on lodging.

What Is Included In The Tanzania Safari Price?

First, we include your airport transfers in a private vehicle, both upon arrival and departure, for complete Tanzania safari packages. However, if you prefer, you can plan to arrange every airport transfer on your own. However, doing so won’t make your package any less expensive because we don’t add any additional fees for airport transfers. Therefore, it would be best if you did that with us.

The same holds true for your Moshi or Arusha lodging. It will be more convenient to book with us because we typically receive our commissions from the hotel or lodge where you stay. If you make a solo reservation, the cost will remain the same. The majority of Tanzania’s hotels and lodges have very nice contract rates with us, so you will actually get a better deal with us.

Why does one Tanzania safari package cost more than the other?

While the price of transportation and entrance fees are the same for every safari, the majority of the cost of a Tanzanian safari is determined by the type of lodging you use while on safari. Budget, midrange, standard-luxury, and, of course, upscale lodges and tented camps are all available. A few lodges and tented camps offer all-inclusive services, while the majority offer full board (3 meals per day).

Don’t forget that the cost does not cover extras like international flights, visa costs, shots, travel insurance, and other annoyances.

Why choose mid-range safari accommodations?

Our mid-range lodging offers the best value in terms of both cost and quality. These inns, lodges, and camps are in stunning settings with breathtaking views, excellent service, and reasonable rates. Mid-range lodging is undoubtedly not cheap. Budget hotels allow you to save between $30 and $50 per day, but the location and quality won’t be as good as mid-range/luxury hotels. We always advise staying at one of our mid-range hotels so you can take full advantage of the space.

Low-Budget Accommodation

We suggest going on a camping safari if you really want to stay on a tight budget and the mid-range hotels are too expensive. There are many excellent camping areas in Tanzania where you can spend the night in a small dome tent in the middle of the wilderness and eat the fresh food prepared by our chefs.

THE SOUTHERN CIRCUIT SAFARI COSTS

The southern circuit safari in Tanzania is one of the more difficult locations to reach, making the trip more expensive.
