You’ll visit the Ngorongoro Crater, which has one of Africa’s highest concentrations of game, on this unforgettable African safari tour. This tour itinerary will also take you to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most spectacularly situated wildlife areas. This park is comprised of a small river which is the best place for animal viewing. The size of the chosen national parks, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, makes them ideal for our shorter safaris.

A DETAILED ITINERARY: 2 DAYS TARANGIRE SAFARI

DAY 1: ARUSHA TOWN TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Early in the morning you will be picked by your our tour guide who will also be your tour guide , we’ll leave and drive directly to Tarangire National Park. The park’s scenery is breathtaking; it is dotted with enormous termite mounds, century-old baobab trees, and golden savannah. The park’s year-round water supply is the reason for its abundance of wildlife. Bird enthusiasts won’t be let down. Over 550 different bird species can be found in the park, including the Maasai ostrich, the largest bird in the world. Although Tarangire is a small park, it draws the largest animals.

From the open roof of your reliable 4×4, you’ll have a great view of giraffes, warthogs, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffalo, and baboons, so get your camera ready. Look up at tree height to spot one of Tarangire’s renowned climbing leopards. You can see elephant herds of all ages, including young, old, babies, teenagers, and herds of females led by a matriarch. A magnificent bull elephant that travels alone might also be seen.

DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER BACK TO ARUSHA TOWN

Get up in early in the morning, check out on a game drive and later embark on a drive to Ngorongoro crater it will take you about 3 hours to get there , arrive and finisn with the park clearances and later drive to the crater, descend 600 meters into this magnificent crater. One of the world’s most populated African wildlife areas, the Ngorongoro Crater is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last black rhinos. The Ngorongoro National Park provides year-round water and food for a wide range of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, and enormous African elephants.

The abundance of predators in this picturesque national park, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which can sometimes require a trained eye to spot, is another major draw. After a picnic lunch in the crater, we’ll head back to Arusha to wrap up our African safari excursion.
